hey guys its jia yi again lol. just wanted to show you guys the reflection i wrote for unit outing, the one jia xin asked for. sorry i'm unable to upload the photos for some funny reason :( Have fun :)SNNPCC Unit Outing 2011 “OMG you know what time I slept last night preparing!” somehow it seemed like everyone had eye bags. Last minute preparations were on as the CIs scolded us for doing it RIGHT IN FRONT of the very people going to play the games. The clues flew as if the sec 1s and 4s had magic powers trying to bring the clues to them so they could cheat. Finally we split into our groups and set off to the most exciting place of the day, Labrador Park! Facilitators were like zi highing while the others were like, okay, they’re kidnapping us to some ulu place. Everyone was walking round and round lost people and my group was like standing there, stoning at the map like something would come out of it. After hinting them for more than 10 minutes, my fellow facilitator and I were getting desperate for time. Encouraging words from Evelyn ma’am that we were planning our route unlike the other groups who were walking in circles made us more optimistic and we finally, like seriously, decided on the destination. The nature reserve did not seem that welcoming as the lush green leaves hinted the humidity and the masses of mosquitoes hiding. True enough, the mosquitoes feasted on us as we climbed to the highest point of the park where we played our first game. After conquering the highest point, fortunately rest of the journey was down hill.
One of the games that left me a vivid memory was the rubber band and half a straw game. It was a great interaction between the sec 1s and 4s. From my point of view, it was almost as if they were kissing! Imagine kissing your senior! I could tell the sec 1s almost died of embarrassment. Another comical game was the deserted island game. You must be wondering how can that game even be funny. The epic moment, was when my fellow facilitator said that she could not live without her student diary and we all started laughing. 100% nerd I guess? As we could hear our stomachs rumbling, the smell of food was not too far. After a day of laughter, fun and games, we were all hungry and tired. Just as we reached for the food, our unit outing oic announced that we had to perform our cheer first. Having not practiced it properly, my group was nervous. It felt awkward as we said the cheer in front of everyone but I thought we said it well and I felt proud to be the facilitator of this group. After, everyone munched away hungrily at the delicious pizza. It was a great unit outing and will always stay as a vivid memory of my NPCC life. Sports day :)
![]() hey squadmates jia yi here =) my first post lol. sports day is over already. good job guys :) it felt kinda weird when the sec 4s came over to talk to us lol. especially when xin xuan ma'am came over to me and gladys and said HA HA HA like super slowly. and we were like we should say that to our juniors too when we are sec 4s haha. hope we will be able to hang in there as evelyn ma'am said the highlight of this term would be drills.... and hopefully our whole squad will pass 3rd class and we will take 2nd class together :) jia yous for those who haven't done their SANA and for those who haven't done cip for NYAA pls think of something so we can do together. Things to take note is...... ITS AMY MA'AM'S BIRTHDAY ON 11 JUNE :) shall we buy something for her? :) thats all and have a nice day. Hey squadmates, holidays are going to end soon. Let's all have a great start of the year by passing our Third Class Drills in Jan ALL TOGETHER. Maybe we can meet up after school to study together of practice our drills. 在假期还没结束之前,让我们好好的利用剩下几天去读 Third Class Notes!! The notes is quite thick and also the content is very 充实. I don't we can finish study it by one or two days. And also 冬至快乐, 圣诞节快乐, 新年快乐!!! Hui Min
Hey squadmates, I'm going to perform a magic call 起死回生on the blog. Alright, yesterday we had drills practice and campcraft test. I think the we had all finish our review test already so, it's time for us the revise the drills. I think we need to improve on the marching kebelakang and berhenti. Some of us had also forgot about the bergerak, menghadap and gerak drills already. If we don't have time to practice as a squad, let's just practice ourself, and learn the timing as well. So after review test, we should have more time to study the drills and know the timing. I thought Singa Lion wasn't there anymore? :O Ahhhh but whatever, you guys know where that is. :D Also, please photocopy your Term 3 PPR results when you get it and pass to me. :D CHERYL! :D Hey squadmates, I know at this point of time there are alot of assignments coming on and our third class drills are coming very soon. Term 3 is going to end, which means Term 4 is starting. It's going to be a very busy term, both in Np and school. Let's improve on our drills greatly, practise them at home. Read the notes as long as you are free, on the bus or mrt, recess time, waiting to buy food, and recall what the ma'ams taught us during activities. In term 4, there are at least 2 review tests everyweek, but i guessed we have to adapt. Okay, I am now giving encouragement. Youth should not seek an easy, comfortable path. No one develops in a pampered environment. Youth should instead seek out challenges and hardships transforming them all into valuable assets as they strive to become individuals of outstanding character and aility. -Daisaku Ikeda Hui Min ok yar... a bit late in posting, no thanks to you cheryl!! u sent me the wrong info !!!!! last week sat pt i really thought i will jus die... wat kind of pt mannnn, they trying to prepare us for jtc next year??!!!! well at least it wasn't on the field, the last time we did it on the field, my pants got muddy, pe shorts too. ok now back to last sat. i changed into my half-u in less then 2 minutes YAY! drills r in a way fun... but i chepat jalan until my hand wanna break lo. and when the sec3 seniors thought us the chepat jalan, why is it that oni i have 2 ma'ams supervising me???? but thats in a way oso good la... more ppl 2 supervise me that means i got less wrong la... all the sec3 ma'ams r relly nice, or at least thats what i think. 2day have one compo test. write until my fingers cramp up liao. 2morrow still have lit essay and chi compo my fingers mus jia you!! ok and yest this crazy duck go and pound my back, all my muscles still very pain from the crazy pt, so in the end i chase her in the class and tickle her like siao. wa sunday cant even sit up properly, stomach muscles screaming, very pain lo. ok my fingers pain again..
